Many of us prefer to use a foundation as a base under our make-up to smooth out the skin tone and cover imperfections.  I do as well, but it always seems too heavy.  I just don’t like to wear heavy make-up (like I did in the 80′s when I practically shoveled it on). 

To get light coverage that feels light, I mix a dab of foundation in the palm of my hand with a dab of my facial lotion and then apply it.  It lightens up the weight of the make-up and goes on very smooth.  It also shortens up my time in the bathroom.
