The best part of our children growing up is watching them explore. We had one toy that was a hit with all three of my children, one girl and two boys, a play kitchen. You can transform any corner or space into fun play with this mini kitchen from Ikea. When my daughter turned two she has received a kitchen set for her birthday, and loved it. She was always playing grocery store, and baking food. I would sit on the floor in the living room, and she would buy groceries and I would check her out, she would pay with fake money and put all her food in the grocery cart.
Role playing is a great way for your child to interact and learn and develop social skills. My kids absolutely loved their play kitchens, my four year old son Brock still plays with it too. Grandma and grandpa have a play kitchen at there house and the kids still all play kitchen, grocery and cook on it! They love cooking for grandpa and making fun creations. How long did your kids play with a play kitchen??
