Nicole Richie Boho Chic

That’s something I’ve not heard of before.  I’ve heard of chic but boho?  There is a boho trend this Fall in fashion according to Cosmo Girl - the hippie movement is back!  Nicole Richie, Sienna Miller and Kate Moss are some celebs who have adopted the look. 

The hippie style could be fun.  I could manage a little of that.  If the hippie style is coming back around, does that mean the 80′s won’t be far behind?  If only 80′s hair would come back because that’s all my thick, curly hair wants to do!

Girls Clothing by Mad Style

I saw this girls clothing commercial today that had some really cute fashions on it called Mad Style (by True Jackson).  I thought it was cute so I looked it up online and the prices were great!  Come to find out, they’re offered at Wal-Mart!  Who doesn’t have a Wal-Mart nearby?  Just about everybody I’d think. 

Wal-Mart didn’t show the high top tennis shoes I saw but the Mad Styleweb site had them and they are ADORABLE!  They had blue, pink, and green plaid.  I’m adding them to my school shopping list for my eight-year-old and maybe adding them to my preschooler’s list too!

Natural is the New Color this Fall

“Natural” is THE color this Fall to have and to wear according to Style.  Whether you call it natural, sand, or brown, or something else altogether, it’s the hue to be seen in on your arm as a purse or on your feet as boots.  I’ll be looking for a pair of “natural” boots to go with my fake lambskin shearling winter coat this year.

Glamour Fashion Advice

For the next six months, Glamour has given us the one staple that we all must have to wear for the next six months – black tights.  That’s an OK tip for some outfits.  I can see that.

They also advise trying something dramatic like boots with shorts or a cape.  I’d definitely do the boots but will skip the cape, thanks.  Even if I paired black tights with a short skirt and a cape…the cape would just be overkill.

Miley Cyrus Meets Wal-Mart

Miley Cyrus and Max Azria have teamed up to bring a girls’ clothing line to a Wal-Mart near you!  I was walking through Wal-Mart today for groceries and was pleasantly surprised to see the clothing line.  This is perfect for my tween daughter who likes Miley’s look (and perfect for mom who doesn’t like rocker prices!).
