Searching for new pots and pans? I want Rachel Ray!!

We have officially decided to remodel our whole house!! That means that I get to redesign my kitchen and make it more useful! Who ever built this house back over one hundred years ago, must have been a man!! Just saying, what women would have created a kitchen with six doorways in a kitchen?? That is so hard to make a productive kitchen out of a room that has six doorways. I will be so happy when we start the remodeling in the kitchen.

When we remodel our kitchen I plan on using clean bright colors, white and terracotta to be exact. Since our kitchen right now is dark and gloomy, I want it to feel airy and bright. I also Rachel Ray Hard Anodized Cookware 14 pc set to go with my newly remodeled kitchen. The pots and pans that we have now are at least ten to twelve years old and will not even sit flat on the stove top. When your pots and pans don’t sit flat on the stove it makes cooking so annoying! Does anyone else have this problem?

Brighten Her Day with Mercury Candle Holders

One of my favorite go to gifts are candles and candle holders. I love the look of tea-light candles burning in a mercury candle holder. The way the light is illuminated through the mercury glass gives off the most amazing glow. The best way I find to relax after a long day at work is to light a couple of my candles, curl up with a nice warm fleece blanket and sit under the candle light and do a word search, or read a book. {yes I can read by candle light, I love candles so there is always more than…….five going when I am reading!!}

Another great way to relax after a long day is to fill the bathtub with warm water, Epsom salt and some bubble bath, and read by candle light or just sit peaceful in the warm water. I usually can only get this done after hours, and by that I mean after all children are sleeping. As mom’s you all know that the minute that you sit down to draw a nice bath or sit to read a good book, the children will find you and want you for something. Superbowl, Birthday Parties and Swan Creek Candles, What’s Better?

And it’s Monday morning, ick. Who else is having an extremely difficult time waking up this morning? It’s almost 11:30 am where I am and a thermos of coffee still hasn’t woken me up. I think it’s all of the Superbowl ads, cheese dip and popcorn that has made me especially lazy and out of it this morning. There is something so comforting about Sunday’s that makes Monday morning more difficult than they should be. Yesterday,  I made tons of yummy snacks, kitty cocktails and sweet treats for the big game of course!

It was my really close friend’s birthday so we got together for the big game to eat, and drink, our lives away, which is probably why I am struggling this morning! Haha, I’ll take a struggling morning for all the fun we had last night. Not only did she love her gift of Swan Creek Candles, but she also loved the cupcakes I made her, which made the day even more special. We usually aren’t real big into sports, not even the Superbowl, but last night’s game was really fun. I know, I’m sure your sick of hearing about it, because that’s all that the media has been talking about for weeks. To be honest I’m glad it’s over and all the talk can die down! I’m more excited about the Grammy awards that are coming up this Sunday! Who’s with me?

Handmade Grape Clothes Basket

Here I found a unique way to not only hold dirty clothes, it could also house toys, books or hats and mittens. This is a Handmade Grape Clothes Basket was hand wrapped in these fun high quality check fabrics around cotton line. Than it was hand coiled and machine sewed to make the basket nice and sturdy.  The raw edge technique was used with a little fray to give it a beautiful textured feel and look. The fabrics used are all 100% cotton on both the inside and outside.
