Superbowl, Birthday Parties and Swan Creek Candles, What’s Better?

And it’s Monday morning, ick. Who else is having an extremely difficult time waking up this morning? It’s almost 11:30 am where I am and a thermos of coffee still hasn’t woken me up. I think it’s all of the Superbowl ads, cheese dip and popcorn that has made me especially lazy and out of it this morning. There is something so comforting about Sunday’s that makes Monday morning more difficult than they should be. Yesterday,  I made tons of yummy snacks, kitty cocktails and sweet treats for the big game of course!

It was my really close friend’s birthday so we got together for the big game to eat, and drink, our lives away, which is probably why I am struggling this morning! Haha, I’ll take a struggling morning for all the fun we had last night. Not only did she love her gift of Swan Creek Candles, but she also loved the cupcakes I made her, which made the day even more special. We usually aren’t real big into sports, not even the Superbowl, but last night’s game was really fun. I know, I’m sure your sick of hearing about it, because that’s all that the media has been talking about for weeks. To be honest I’m glad it’s over and all the talk can die down! I’m more excited about the Grammy awards that are coming up this Sunday! Who’s with me?

Reclaimed Wood Potting Bench

For the Love of Gardening, check out this awesome Reclaimed Wood Potting Bench.  I love the look of this Old wood potting bench. The Work table height 34”, width 48”, depth 25”. Top shelf 4”. Total height 51”. I would love to have this near my flower garden to use to re-pot and transfer my plants on. The seller build’s these from old pallets, mostly oak, sands them to smooth, stain (if you like) and seal with two coats of boat spar varnish. This for sure will hold up very well in the elements of the outdoors.

This is a great gift for the gardener in your life, or for your self if you like plants like I do. This can be set in your garden shed or potting shed. I would set it up by the garden, although setting it up on the patio or deck area would look like also. I love the little water tub sink that is located on the counter of the potting bench, with the flip down work station to cover it when not using. Too Cute this is!!

Covered Bridge- Bird Feeder

I love this beautiful winter berry Covered Bridege Bird Feeder.  Make bird watching fun by adding this bird feeder to your outdoor space, patio, deck or garden. We love to feed the birds at my house and have several feeders on our deck. We have them in an area that is visible from our living room. We have a bird book on the coffee table to pin point what bird we are looking for. I frequently find my kids perched up against the window watching the birds, while one names them and reads out loud it’s full description of where they come from and where they are going.

This is a lovely handmade and hand painted Bird Feeder, it is a unique addition to your outdoor garden! The birds will love it and it will go great in any landscape. The feeder is a beautiful open air Covered Bridge style design. The roof  is painted and adorned with a twigs and winter red berries on the corners and the edge of the feeding tray. Feeding tray is painted red and trimmed in dark brown, the entire feeder is stained a soft Pecan . There are Russian Olive branches as columns holding up the roof, which adds a charming old fashioned rustic character to the design. It is a full 360 degree feeding station that’s great for viewing a large number of wild birds as they flock to the food.
