The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are finally upon us.  We can all catch it on September 13, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. (eastern).  Russell Brand is back to host it again this year.  I saw him today on The View, hitting on Sherri Shephard to the point that she seemed at a loss for words a couple of times.  He is a mixture of adorable and outrageously annoying.  I haven’t quite figured it out yet.  Perhaps without the English accent, he’d just be annoying.  Time will tell.
