Long Prom Dresses are hot this year!

So hot new styles are hitting the racks this year for Prom 2013.  There are always a ton of styles and sizes available at Pacific Plex.  Prom is a fun exciting time for most girls in high school, they look forward to it, plan for it, and even page through the newest article of M Magazine, Twist, Seventeen, and many more. Some of hottest looks this year are long prom dresses.

I have a nine year old that loves to dress up, my mom often finds some old prom dresses at thrift stores or garage sales and keeps them in the toy room at her house for her grand daughters! My daughter Michaela and my niece Mazie love dressing up and pretending like they are going to Prom. I took them to my nephew’s Winter Formal and they both sat at the edges of their seats admiring and carefully looking over every detail as they walked past us at the grand march. Wedding Shower Invitations

I have been married almost eight years next month and always get excited for the soon to be newlyweds.  I have a couple of friends that have recently got engaged, so I decided to try to find some really amazing wedding shower invitations that will Wow all their quests. When you have a wedding shower, you are having a pre wedding party! You invite all of your friends and family over to a specific location. The bride and groom to be will usually be registered, maybe at Target, Macy’s, maybe they have even registered for an online for a cash gift registry. By registering for a cash gift registry,they are setting up an account for their guests to send cash for their honeymoon.  Weddings are so much fun to attend, you will really get to see the couples personal style come out in their wedding. Prom Dresses, The best part of Prom

On this sunshiny morning I reflect back on my time at Prom. Let’s face it, most of us have been there and done that already?! Right? Well I have at least. I recently took my nine year old daughter and eleven & seven year old niece to my nephew’s winter formal called JOBS. The prom dresses are the best part of prom.  Pacific Plex has a great selection of dresses that are affordable on any budget.

The girls all sat at the edge of their seats from the front row, watching in admiration. As each couple walked by, they studied each dress,  all of its details including the accessories. When their oldest cousin Isaiah and his girlfriend and date Kiersten {pictured below} walked out onto the stage the girls went crazy!! Smiles beaming from ear to ear, about to explode with excitement the girls were giddy! I don’t even remember how long it took for over 200 couples to walk across the stage, but the girls never got bored.

Before we headed to the grand march, the girls had their fun dressing up in old prom dresses that their Grammie had purchased from garage sales. The girls had so much fun that they could hardly wait to leave to go watch all of the couples and all the pretty prom dresses. Save the Date Rubber Stamp Set

My cousin had sent out a “Save The Date” It was amazing and I really spent a whole day trying to find it, I had saved it because it was so neat. I unfortunately could not find it to share with you but it was a picture both my cousin and her fiance were wake boarding in clothes and she was holding a wooden sign with hand painting on it saying “Save the Date” with the date on it. Lots of people are getting married in my family and I thought I would talk about some fun ideas.
