Do you know someone who loves music? Loves all sorts of music from A to Z? Then you should check out Slacker.Com. Slacker. Com is a online radio station that has all sorts of different music. Slacker also has special mp3 players just for Slacker.Com. Slacker is free. They do offer different packages from you to choose from of becoming pro.

You don’t have to buy the pro. You can just listen to the plain Slacker.Com for free. They have a special now if you buy a year for pro, they will give you 10 free month trials for family or friends (or whoever you want) for them to try it out. Its the gift that keeps giving!

Have you ever heard of this band?  I must be way behind because they’re a big deal in a lot of places and I just came across the name today.  I checked out some of their mp3′s on Amazon to see what their sound was like.  It sounds a little pop, a little metal, maybe some 80′s thrown in.  I can’t quite pin down the sound.  Check out the mp3′s here from their Humanoid album for yourself.

I just picked up The Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack and my kids are asking for their own copies for themselves and their friends before I had a chance to listen to it myself.  This is going to be one popular soundtrack to get your hands on for half the teenaged girl population!  The soundtrack is to tide you over until New Moon hits theatres in a few weeks.

MTV Video Music Awards

The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are finally upon us.  We can all catch it on September 13, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. (eastern).  Russell Brand is back to host it again this year.  I saw him today on The View, hitting on Sherri Shephard to the point that she seemed at a loss for words a couple of times.  He is a mixture of adorable and outrageously annoying.  I haven’t quite figured it out yet.  Perhaps without the English accent, he’d just be annoying.  Time will tell.
